At St. Patrick’s College we are very proud to be at the heart of a community that places such a high
value and importance on quality education and Catholic Faith development. Our school thrives on the
invaluable support we receive from our local communities. We are lucky to be served by outstanding
primary schools who work closely with us to ensure that your transition from Primary 7 to Year 8 will
be a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Our outcomes are strong at both GCSE and A Level. We are committed to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that includes excellent opportunities for enrichment and leadership at all levels. Whilst academic success is very important, here at St. Patrick’s College, we also believe that there is more to a good education and actively seek to provide opportunities and experiences will help you become more confident, well-rounded and ambitious young adults. We have a wide and varied extra-curricular programme, catering for all our student needs – there is something for everyone.

I am very proud to work with and lead a highly motivated staff who work together to promote high achievement and exceptional pastoral support, where every child is encouraged to achieve a level of “personal excellence” that we proudly celebrate with them. Our staff are dedicated to the promotion of personal excellence through challenge, support and reward.

Our pupils are challenged in classrooms, sporting arenas and on the school stage to achieve their personal best.

Our pupils are supported in every aspect of their academic, social, moral and spiritual development.

Our pupils are rewarded regularly and their achievements are shared proudly with our wider community.

We are fully committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of the young people in our care, it is at the heart of everything we do. We ensure that every decision we make puts our students first. We are an inclusive school and ensure that every student at the St. Patrick’s College flourishes. We hope you enjoy our website and experience a snapshot of our school life and the many different elements that make it such a vibrant and dynamic place of teaching and learning in the heart of Dungiven.
