Marvin Mobile Phone Recycling Appeal

Pupils at St. Patrick’s College Dungiven have been busy collecting old and unwanted mobile phones around their community in response to the “Marvin Mobile Phone Recycling Appeal” launched by the Menigitis Research Foundation.
This exciting challenge has rewarded the pupils efforts with a choice of sporting equipment for the school, these items are now used as part of the organised games during break and lunch periods
A total of 120 phones were collected.
Pauric Judge and Gavin Kealey were joint top collectors.
Well done to thank you to all who particicpated in the organisation and collections.
The Menigitis Research Foundation has linked with our school's ‘A’ Level Health and Social Care classes and offered assistance in the form of research literature.
