The Mathematics department aims to ensure that each pupil is numerate, has sufficient mathematical skills for the career of their choice and will understand the mathematics likely to be encountered in adult daily life.
Mathematics is a subject which all pupils must study throughout their time at school. All pupils are entered for an external GCSE examination. Our pupils follow the AQA modular approach which comprises of three concise, manageable, units of work. The course is adaptable and is appropriate for pupils of all abilities.
