GCSE EXAM RERSULTS - 2011
Year 12 students in St Patrick’s College, Dungiven received their GCSE results and should all be very proud of their achievements.
63% of students achieved five or more Grades A* - C, with 27% of students achieving ten GCSE Grades A* - C. The grades in all subjects have improved on last year.

There were many exceptional individual performances, especially:
Sinead O’Connor: 1A*, 6A and 3B grades;
Megan Carlin: 7A and 3B grades;
Mark Mc Closkey: 4A and 6B grades;
Sara Mc Laughlin: 4A, 5B and 1c grades;
Caolan Mullan: 1A*, 3A, 4B and 2C grades;
Bronagh O’Kane: 3A and 7B grades;
Leon Armstrong: 1A, 7B and 2C grades;
Chloe Devlin: 1A; 7B and 2C grades;
Christopher Mc Guckin: 2A; 4B and 4C grades.

All students will be rewarded for their efforts at the annual Prize Giving ceremony next month.
Mrs Sands, Principal said: ‘The staff of St Patrick’s congratulates our Year 12 students on these excellent results. They and their parents should be very proud of their achievements. I would like to also congratulate the teaching staff for their dedication and hard work. The vast majority of our students have performed well above their predictions. Along with our excellent AS and A Level results, this has been a very successful year for the school. I look forward to many of our Year 12 students returning to us to study A Levels.’

Staff are delighted to have such a successful group returning to 6th form to continue their education through St. Patrick's College.
