This was the first year for students from St Patrick’s to sit A-Level Design and Technology (Product Design) and the results are very promising, with Stephen Harkin being the top student, achieving a B Grade. This will certainly encourage our Year 12 students to return to us to study A-Level.

The students who studied an A-Level course in one of our Roe Valley partner schools also performed exceptionally well, withSean Hasson and Conor O’Kane achieving a Distinction in Construction (NW Regional College)and

Shauneen Brady achieving an A Grade in Irish (St Mary’s).

‘I am delighted with these results; the students have worked very hard and I want to congratulate them. The A-Level students have given themselves a solid foundation on which to build their future achievements and can go on to further study with confidence in their ability to succeed. St Patrick’s College is very proud of these students and wish them every success as they begin their 3rd level education at Universities and FE Colleges.

I would also like to take this opportunity to publicly acknowledge the tremendous work and effort of our staff in contributing to these results and thank them sincerely on behalf of our parents and myself.’
